This is an invitation for you...that is right--- YOU! You can be a part of the solution! You can invest in the life of child! You can give a gift of life...something we take for granted, by helping provide water so the 63 children can move into their new home to be cared for.
How can you help? How can you be the solution? How can you show love? Valentine's Day is coming up in a few days - instead of buying flowers that wilt and die, candy that has been sitting in boxes for weeks and months and cards that get thrown---Show love by giving the gift of clean water to orphans in Uvira, Congo. This Valentine's Day, we are partnering with Global Outreach to kickoff a fundraising campaign in order to bring a water pipeline to the Congo for Christ Orphanage in Uvira, Congo. We encourage you to be a part of this campaign by donating your Facebook status letting your friends know about the campaign and provide a link to our website where they can make a donation: http://www.waterforcongo.c
$5 and $10 donations multiplied by hundreds of friends = life saving water!

Here is another opportunity for you to invest into the work on the ground in Congo. On Sunday, April 3rd the A1:8 Congo Missions Team from National Community Church will partner with Invisible Children to bring the "Congo Tour" to Ebenezers Coffeehouse. We will be showing the new documentary film "Tony" and will also hear stories from their Ugandan teammate.
The Congo Missions Team will also be raising funds for their mission trip in June, specifically a water pipeline project for Congo for Christ Orphanage. The team will be debuting a limited edition Congo t-shirt available in men's and women's sizes. Proceeds from sales will benefit the water pipeline project.
